does anyone know how I can play music with other musicians over the computer. For example:If I play the piano?

if I play the piano and you play the guitar and someone else plays the harmonica, is there a way that we can all play together without actually being with one another ?

You mean like a musical 'chat room'. Brilliant idea.

The easiest way would be to use the voice chat feature on a messaging service. (For example Yahoo) This would require your computer to have a microphone. Then you could all jump in a group chat and play away.
