I do not think Jade is a celebrity because to be a celebrity you have to be very well known nationally and internationally but she is only known in the UK and she got fame from being thick and stupid throughout her BB3 experience.
Jack never spoke to her and when he did it was very nasty. The situation with the stew being chucked down the toilet and he said to her to pick the bones out with her teeth. That was very horrible. I just do not get why he hates her. Shilpa has not done anything to him or is it because his mother (Jade lol) does not approve of her.

No, Jade Goody is most certainly not a celebrity, what can she do? She doesn't act, sing, dance, present, she has no flair for the arts, or for the environment, she has no talent for anything other than appearing in reality shows and getting drunk, she is famous for being famous and the name 'celebrity' does not apply to her at all
Jacks hatred of Shilpa is probably borne from ignorance, the fact he called her 'P a k i' shows he lacks geographical knowledge anyway, but he probably comes from a racist background where it's seen as clever to talk about anyone who is different in this manner in order to be one of the gang.
He is also influenced by what he sees as his girlfriends 'celebrity status' and so follows her lead. She has made it plain she doesn't like Shilpa and so in turn he says he doesn't, as far as I've seen he's made little or no attempt to even get to know her to form an opinion

Shilpa seems like a lovely woman, but in a close environment like that I think people with very different cultures clash. Its nothing to do with colour or religion or racism. It's just a clash of personalities and part of that is due to different cultures.
Shilpa was bought up differently to Jack (Jackie especially) and the girls. She has manners and respects herself and her god, has dignity etc etc etc.
Whereas the other girls have different personalities and values.
Neither group is wrong - its a pity for Shilpa but it's great TV - I'm hooked!!
