I know its been said or asked before but I had to get it off my chest too.
Big Brother, whats all this cr*p about contestants being racist ???
Who , when. The whole country is up in arms, even the MP's are talking about it in parliment ??? Whats the fuss.

No one's being racist. some of the house mates dont like Shilpa thats all so cos there is a bit of tension there any one who doesnt like Shilpa is now racist ?? What rubbish. It has nothing to do with the colour of her skin or the fact that she is from India. Jade, Jo & Danielle just dont get on with her thats all, doesnt make them racist.

Who ever says it is is simply stirring up trouble for the fun of it. The whole country and even the world has gone PC mad. you cant do or say anything anymore without upsetting someone and have them call you racist for it. As for Danielle's comments about eating with fingers, She not being racist, she was just being a dumb model. who agrees with me.?

I think they are bullying her, although it is not racism but if Jo hadn't of done a voice impression of Shilpa people wouldn't be able to go for the easy option and use the race card, also Jade's mum Jackey kept referring to her as the Indian (nice) again if she hadn't of said that she wouldn't be open to people calling her a racist. I do not think they are deliberately being racist but they are deliberately being ignorant of the fact she has come from a different culture to do this show, and none of them can be bothered to make an effort to understand her ways. I wonder how well any of them would do if they were sent into an Indian Big Brother show.

Hey, now im not the type to play the race card....but then again ive never had an experience of racism (not to my face anyway).
I think when people have been through racism they tend to see things like this and feel it more because of what theyve been through themselves.
I have to say that at first racism didnt even cross my mind and i put it down to 3 bi*ches bullying Shilpa. But now that ive read some of the ignorant, demeeing things theyve said, i can see how the row has sparked up.
Dont dismiss it too quickly...its not PC gone mad. Its reality!

You get a gold star,At last somebody who is talking sense,Everything that you say is spot on,The 3 girls are Not being racist they just don't like Shilpa and that is all there is to it.But i do wonder if it was the other way round and there were 3 Asian girls and 1 white girl and the 3 didn't like the white girl if there would still be a outcry of racism???

I totally agree with you. The only reason that they are saying that it's raccist is because she is Indian and the rest are English. I wouldn't even say that they are bullying her.

At the end of the day it is just women who don't all get on with each other it happens in everyday life. If I have an argument with one of my females friends it's just an argument it has nothing to do with bullying of any sort.

In all it just gives Big Brother more press coverage and it makes people watch it more because it's all over the news and papers and people want to see what's going on.

They've been arguing in the big brother house since the first one seven years ago.

Jack called Shilpa a P*KI

And the bimbos seem to forget that they have no problem eating food with their fingers when they stuff their faces full of Kebabs, pizzas, or Fish and Chips.
At best it was hypocrisy or ignorance, but they're certainly being belligerent..

As far as I'm concerned the whole thing is silly and been blown out of proportion. You would think that the members of Parliament involved, would have better things to talk about. Rather than taking up their time with the playground antic's of some minor celebs. People have a choice if you don't like whats going on in the big bro house, hit them where it hurts most.....In their ratings. STOP WATCHING.

I would agree that they are not being racist, but they are being nasty, two-faced and bullying her. The racist spin (largely media-led) is another excuse to get a large percent of the population up in arms and causing (dangerous) trouble for our nation. I really admire Shilpa for how she is handling the situation. The 'gang' who dislike her will live to regret much of their time in the house, I am sure - hardly doing their 'celebrity' status any good!

What kind of country is this that you can only hate a man because he is white? Hank Hill had it right. Never watched Big Brother and never plan to. I think someone with the show stirred up trouble to get attention though. Looks like it worked.

I Entirely agree with you on what you are saying. I am a good looking mixed raced guy with BLACK blood in me, but no way would I use the Race Card. It is so ridiculous. My mates in the past have called me a mongrel, but I laughed my head off with them. I cannot see the fuss being made over nothing.
