its not a cartoon its an avatar. and to make one u have to go to edit my page or wutevr go to the last icon on the pictures and clik create my yahoo avatar and ull understand the rest.

click on your "gray" pic
select edit my info
under the picture section-select edit my yahoo avatar
(this will open a new window)
create your avatar as per directions there and save
return to the pic section of the previous edit page and select use my yahoo avatar

Create an avatar. Go to your home and change your settings. There will be a link to yahoo avatars so you can create one. Of if you just hold on one sec, I'll retreive the link for you. Brb with that.

you have to go to your profile(click on your non picture) and click on display my avitor, then you can make one. click on edit or something like that...
