maybe test the water and say something like'I wander if we would make a good couple'we spend enoughy time together,we could be !?see what his reaction is.Sadly men are not that quick when it comes to getting the hint and it may take a while for this to happen.!If you do just say somethig outright,then even if he doesn't want to take things further,he will still be flattered that yo asked him and Im sure you will be still friends.Its a fine line and once you cross it,well it could make things different for you,but you will never know unless you start finding out!

I lost a 6 year friendship because he liked me and I didn't feel the same. Now I want him but he's too shy to talk to me again; if your friendship means a lot to you just make sure he feels the same way before you take this risk and tell him.
