Simplify:
3a+b/6a+2b

Add or Subtract as indicated:
b/b-1 + 2b/b^2-1

Thank you for all your help, I'm sorry I posted the wrong one for the second problem, the one I'm having trouble with is actually this one:

a-1/a+1 + a+1/a-1

you put the problem in and they solve it.

For the first problem break the problem down like this
3a + b/ 2(3a+b)....then you can take out the 3a + b so you would have 1/2 that is what I get but you might want to check it.

The second one use the webmath page...

is the 3a+b together? or is that 3 seperate terms, the second one is just 1/b - 1

3a+b/6a+2b = 3a+b/2(3a+b)
= 1/2

b/b-1 + 2b/b^2-1 = b/(b-1) + 2b/(b+1)(b-1)
= [ b(b+1) + 2b ] / (b+1)(b-1)
= b(b+3)/(b+1)(b-1)
