can you forgive for cheating on you

It takes a lot of work on the part of both people but this can be achieved. You have to work with a therapist and process all the negative emotions that you must be feeling. It is not easy being betrayed by the person that you love and I think that you can forgive a one time occurence but if this is happening all the time it is best to end the relationship.

Infidelities hurts, but most of all it hurts the one you love. It cab be forgiven, but you must always ask yourself, why you did it and what to do and stop it.

I had that problem for many years with my wife and I was the bad guy...yup, thats me,,Mr. Fool Around.
One day, I come home and found my wife crying. My Son had caught a fever and she needed to take him to the hospital and I was no where to be found and had the car too.

I took my Son to the Hospital and we got him taken care of, but the lesson learned was that my family needed me and I was not there and for what?

I changed my ways and never did it again. I admitted to my wife that I had slept with another woman and was prepared to take the punch, but for somereason, she already knew and was glad that I told her. She forgave me and when I look back 15 years ago, I see how dumb I really was that I would sacrafice losing the best woman that ever come into my life and now 25 years of marriage her and I are going strong as ever.

I was lucky, but for others not so lucky. It is easy to live when I do something right, but it was hard living with a mistake.

So there you have it,. Fool around...you play with fire and could very well get burned severely too!

Yes, and I have!! You have to forgive a person, for yourself, otherwise, it will consume you. Forgive them, either try to make the relationship work or move on without them, whatever you decide, you must forgive!!!

It's taken me 12 years but I finally did. Too late but I did forgive her.

I have forgiven my girl for cheating before, but I didn't forget. It takes how EVER long it may take for one to heal after being in some cases boldly lied to. There is such a lack of respect for the other's heart So, sure I can forgibe, but may not ever forget...

First,I think you should use the spellchecker option. Secondly, unless English is a second language for you, maybe you ought to check out a grammar primer too.
I could forgive someone for cheating on me depending on the conditions involved. Do I love them still? Do they still love me? Do they want to be forgiven and are they still wanting to be involved with me? Are they really sorry and willing to go to counseling or commit to doing whatever we need to make it work? Is it the first time? Then probably yes.
