Cops & firemen have to take one but we put people in positions of authority & find out when it's too late that they are self serving, sometimes perverted, power brokers!!

That idea had never entered my mind, but I think it is probably the best feasible idea anyone has thought of in a long time. You should somehow further this idea...letters to editors of newspapers, etc. Go for it!

There are certain people that become such good liars that they can fool polygraphs. I definitely believe that a politician would fit into this category!

Perhaps cops & firemen in your jurisdiction.
Service record often is polygraph enough for me. If you're not paying attention to what matters to you and just voting on a whim, please don't vote.

Drug & alchohol testing in many cases without be conscious. psychological testing should be applied besides on bi-each year foundation also with reviews accessible to the universal public, considering they are public servants.
