I have a t-mobile uk phone and I want to know if it's possible to email my phone. Basically, if my phone number is 12345678912, is it possible to email something like 12345678912@t-mobile.co.uk and receive the msg as an SMS on my phone?

This is for an automated system I'm trying to setup so I need to be able to send from an email client rather than a website.

I know for T-Mobile USA it's moble#@tmomail.net, I'd try mobile#@tmomail.co.uk and if that doesn't work, good ol' Customer Care can tell you.

I don't know about email, but you can go to T-mobile's website and send text messages to a t-mobile phone. I do that with my step-daughter.
