Should'nt we require a test or polygraph for our elected officials?

Cops & firemen have to take one but we put people in positions of authority & find out when it's too late that they are self serving, sometimes perverted, power brokers!!

Ever look at who is in power today? Know how many members of Congress are millionaires? How many are related to other, or former members of political families? They aren't going to restrict who gets to join the family business. Its a rich mans club, and when an outsider threatens, they get cut down pretty fast as Clinton did. As Obama will, I gave up on them being ordinary representatives, representative of the people that have voted for them, but do they have to be so blatant about it? As Edwards says, there are two Americas. Edwards, by the way, was the first of his family to attend college, so you if you hear he was born with a silver spoon, take note...hes becoming too popular for comfort. He did go one to make himself a potful of money, but he earned it the old fashioned way, himself, doesn't owe any of it to daddy or industry. Should be a fun election.

Drug & alchohol testing regularly without notice. Mental testing should be implemented as well on bi-yearly basis also with evaluations available to the public, since they are public servants.

perchance law enforcement officers & firemen on your jurisdiction. service checklist many times is polygraph sufficient for me. while you're actually not paying interest to what concerns to you and purely balloting on a whim, please do not vote.

Unfortunately there is not one person in congress that could pass a poly.

To get the votes from two opposing groups you have to lie to at least one of them.
