I am looking to buy a laptop with a 14-15.4 screen, brand does not matter, in a store, not online, with 2gb ram, and Win XP Professional. Has anyone seen any. I have looked at BestBuy,Office Depot,Staples, and they are getting their shelves ready for Vista. I am not ready for Vista yet. Thank you! Liz

you can always just install xp pro on it yourself. Ask about buying a laptop without an o.s. you can usually get these cheaper, and download windows xp off the net, at a torrent site for example, you can also get a windows guniune validation hack from most torrent sites. e-mail me at chuckshaw.home@yahoo.com if you would like to know what site offers this and how to get in.

You're asking for an increasingly rare computer, given how the retail market works. Not many retail companies will take a chance on selling a computer with XP Pro on it; they have enough trouble with depreciation as it is.

Therefore, you have two choices; either buy online, or buy a computer with Vista on it. I recommend the former, but I've sneered at retail computers for at least the last 5 years. Dell is probably your best choice.
