When you write product, you are really looking for a fragrance to cover the smell of formaldehyde yes?

The way your question was worded it seemed like you wanted the formaldehyde to be unaffected by the fragrance.

Unfortunately, nothing will remove the smell. You are smelling the compound of formaldehyde. And as long as the formaldehyde is present you will smell it. The best you can hope for is to add a complementary fragrance that will cover the odor. I suggest menthol.

This is the fragrance in Vicks vapor rub. A common practice in forensics is to place some Vicks under each nostril to cover unpleasant odors.
