I've had dreams that I had black hair (I have blonde hair). I had a dream that I had twins (even though I've already had an ultrasound and there is only one in there). and I had dreams that I had a miscarriage!!! Is this normal? Or am I going crazy? Please help. Tell me about some of your dreams if you had any.

This is completely normal. I am only 6 1/2 weeks and I get crazy vivid dreams all the time since I became pregnant. I have very sexual dreams sometimes and then the other night I had a dream that I was making a documentary on heart attach patients (I dont know the first thing about cameras let alone the human heart). I also had a dream that I was breast feeding my baby that was already born. I think that it has to do with the crazy hormones and as far as the dream about the miscarriage I think that it is you worrying about it. As expecting mothers that is all we do. Good Luck!!!

As far as dreams reflecting what you think about in every day life I dont buy it. The other night I had a sex dream that involved a horse. I would never have thought about that in my life!!!!!

It's your high hormone levels playing with your mind while you're relaxed and sleeping.

I had horrible nightmares with my son, they were the worst ever. Most of them were about something happening to my child in the worst possible ways (car accidents, drowning, things falling on him, etc)...they did proceed after he was born just for a few months and then finally went away. He is now almost 5 and healthy.

With this pregnancy i have had weird dreams, not really bad ones...just very vivid strange ones. I did ask my doctor and she said it was completely normal. You have higher hormone levels and more blood flow through the brain than usual, so it tends to give you these dreams and it would even be normal to have day dreams.

I think it's totally normal to be having weird dreams while pregnant. (and even when not pregnant). I have had some doozies while I was pregnant and I am STILL having doozies even now! lol

Our minds are an enigma! Anything and everything that we think about, see on tv, talk about during the day, etc..goes straight to our subconscience mind and we have weird dreams. It's ok! No Worries.

And, I don't think you'll have a miscarriage. It's just a terrible thought that will run through your mind when pregnant. You want your baby to be safe, healthy and happy. So of course you are having all kinds of thoughts and fears.

Good Luck and Keep up with doctor appointments. :-)

*HUGS*

I think it's very normal to have weird/vivid dreams throughout your pregnancy. I'm 15 weeks now, and every night i have one dream that's weirder than the one the night before. I'd tell you about mine, but I forget most of it by mid-morning. Some times I have been dreaming so hard that when my alarm goes off, i have an instant headache from being abruptly awaken. Then I'll sit in the shower thinking about the weird dream and trying to remember it....very strange!

TOTALLY normal! A lot of it has to do with hormones and your subconscious worries. For instance, I am guessing you might freak out a bit if you had twins, and it is every mother's worst nightmare to miscarry.

Just wait until you get to the sex dreams, lol! I found many of mine rather humorous and my husband liked to give me a bad time about it. He would always ask me who I slept with last night, lol!

I actually had a very short dream about my daughter before we were positive it was a girl. It was interesting because she was maybe five in the dream, had long brown hair and looked a lot like me. I think I was trying to get her to get in the car and she just gave me this little smile that said, "I'm going to be difficult about it." Funny thing is... she DOES look a lot like me and loves to be difficult!

OMG yes dreams are going to haunt you until the baby's arrival...hormones plays SUCH a nasty little trick on our minds and gets all our juices flowing that we don't know what's what in our dreams. Yes it's quite normal to have weird dreams best thing for you to do is laugh at them cause they'll only get weirder and weirder :) GL and Congratulations :)

I were having loopy and intensely bright aims! I have had some about having a woman and one the position i became having twins (in common words pregnant with one) after I awaken i'll't undergo in ideas most of the dream in basic terms that it became in basic terms about like it became somewhat happening!

Your dreams directly reflect what you think about everyday. And dreams usually have opposite meaning so no worries. You are just fine and you are pregnant. If you do want to know what all that really meant then you can try to do a search online for websites that have key words of your dream and explanations, meanings. You can try website below...
if you notice second link i attached explains miscarriage meaning, including when young mothers experience those in their second trimester and is normal. So no worries. Have fun with a website.

They are normal. My sister-in-law had crazy sex dreams. It's just the changes in your body causing you to have weird dreams.
