I have a 40 year old friend, father of 2 boys and married for more than 20 years. He got married to the first woman he met. Love at first sight they say.
He just told me he started to wear some women underwear few years ago then he changed it to g-string type of underwear for men. He goes to bed with his wife´s pyjamas, he puts on some colored girlish socks in the gym, he mentions of getting removed his chest and back hair, he also thinks of doing liposuction for the little fat he has on his belly and so on.
His little brother is gay and his younger son (12) is most probably gay as well. So being gay kinda runs in his familly.
Is he also gay? Or the changes are some kind of middle age chrisis?

sounds like a fluffer to me pops. break out the pink cakes and celebrate his comeing out party. if hes not gay then this will embares him back to normal. what i mean by normal is, the broad sense that is socially accepted on notice and not have to do the specail self awarness enlightenment garbage. plain and simple pops, your son is either a fluffer or hes not. and the one way to tell is by throwing him this party. if hes not and it works by scaring him back into normalness, then he will thank you.

Gay does not 'run in the family". Probably just for the first time exploring things that he hasn't been able to before. If he gets off dressing in girly stuff, fine. It's not hurting anyone, just helping himself.
Maybe down the track he might discover he is gay, but crossdressing does not equal gay by any means.
Good luck to him!

A person who dresses in the other gender's clothes doesn't mean that that person is gay. It's what makes them comfortable, what turns them on or both. Although sometimes they are, most often the two things aren't connected. Signs of being gay are attraction to someone of the same sex!

It's sound like a mid-life crisis than change in sexual orientation, but boy let me tell you how much fun it can be if he IS coming out. My previously straight married best friend decided he was bi, having had bi experiences before he was married. I was able to come out to him and confess my extreme physical attraction to him; and for the past year we have been having the best sex ever!

First of all, you can't "become" gay. You are or you aren't. My guess is he probably is somewhat bisexual, but that doesn't mean he wants to leave his wife and mess around with men. He may be perfectly happy in his current situation and just has some more feminine habits.

I don't believe you can become gay-you just are or aren't. Also, I don't think gay can run in a family. It sort of sounds like he's having a mid-life crisis and he's experimenting.

Well none of those things means he wants to have sex with men - but I can see how the question would be in your mind.

If you really want to know why not just ask him? I mean you said your afriends I can talk to my friends about anything - you should be able to as well.

I don't think he is gay...he is just having a midlife crisis...it happens to everyone usually around 40 to 50. And you might try women's clothing it is comfortable.

Could be a mid-life crisis, but it sounds more like a fetish of some sort or gender identity crisis.

They dress and care for themselves because it feels better.he may be completely straight or may be exploring a different side of himself that he's been hiding for years.
