First pregnancies it's hard to determine movement until much later on.

Look for the feeling of fluttering (yes, you can feel it above your belly button at 19 weeks). Some say it feels like a gas bubble moving in there and eventually the longer you go, you'll feel the little bugger rolling around in there. By the 30th week, you'll swear he's doing somersaults and hanging off of your ribcage by his toes. They can get pretty wild in there...to the point that when you start showing you'll be sitting somewhere and you'll see the kick through your shirt!

Lay down after a meal and relax, close your eyes and you'll definitely feel the movement within an hour or so.

That's one thing you'll miss so bad...you'll be in the hospital holding your new baby and you'll almost cry because you don't feel the movement in your tummy anymore....enjoy it while you can!

I think you have gas. Sometimes it feels a lot like movement. I could always see when my baby was moving.

The first movement I felt was like a flutter (like butterflies). It made me kinda queazy lol. I think I was around 16 weeks or so...I don't remember exactly.
