"You really have to" is a reason to fight. So there is at least one good reason to fight.
I suspect however that you mean it should be the absolute last resort and only if you are being attacked by someone else. I tend to believe it matters on who is involved and why. I got into a fistfight at work some years back (at Pizza Hut) with this guy who was a bully. He would intimidate everyone into helping him finish his work first (or make someone else do it altogether) so he could leave early. He picked on a friend of mine more than anyone else (my friend was naturally helpful and laidback, but he would allow others to take advantage of him sometimes).
One day I was mopping when the manager told the bully he couldn't leave until he mopped the dishroom. He told me to give him the mop, and when I said after I was done with it I'd give it to him he tried to take the mop from me forcefully. Now I could have let him take it and let him continue to bully both me, Dustin (the aforementioned friend), and most of the others but instead I attacked him right back. He didn't pick on anyone else for the remaining two weeks he was there (he quit at the end of those two weeks).
I didn't have to fight (and since I needed the job I never should have), but it did work out in the end for everyone. So there are times when it can be good (even when it isn't necessary).

there is no reason to fight unless some one has a gun to some ones head or somthing then there is plenty of reason to fight but fighting just gets ur blood pressure up then once it gets to high you get a head ach then you have that for a couple hours after the fight is over then you have cuts and or bruses that stay there for long periods of time it is just a waste of time plus it gets people mad and then eventully depending on the person they will bring a gun in to work and or school and shoot the place up so just be happy and live your life to the fullest and have no regrets when ur laying on ur death bed and reallizing that ur going to die you realize that it was a waste of time and that u may not go to heaven because it was stupid and you hurt some one so think before you act it will be worth it in the long run

do you mean voilence?? Absoultly not any reason for some one to put there hands on any one else to solve a problem.
And verbal fighting seems like a big waste of time doesnt solve any thing.

Personally, I don't like to fight. However, I do believe in self-defense. If you touch me, I'm taking you out!

Your question appears to be in conflict, "..unless u really have to". Meaning under some circumstance, even you would fight!
