My honest opinion is all award shows are stupid. It's people throughout show business congratulating themselves and each other, glamourizing themselves, self promoting, egocentric behavior, then celebrating afterwards for having done so. It's the only industry I'm aware of that can get away with it. Sometimes I will watch the opening of the oscars if someone really funny like Billy Crystal is doing his thing---otherwise I don't partake.That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

I think oscars in past few years are getting boring. It is like a beauty contest like who wears what and the blings and who looked fav and who looked ugly.

Bloated, superficial, boring, shallow.... always was like that. Screw the world in which people like TomCruise with all his three years of school are alowed to discuss anything and matter.

Yes! I fall asleep when they're on. Plus they're too long and some people give such long winded speeches!

i always thought they were boring...........who wants to watch people get rewards for making ungodly amounts of money.......and not working nearly as hard as the average person........and watching them flaunt there wealth.......kinda boring
