I work at a vet clinic so I see a lot of cases like these, unfortunately they aren't uncommon. I would estimate about 60% of animals that have had allergy testing have come back with an answer to the skin issues. So it's hit and miss, and really hard to say whether it will be successful or not. May I also suggest that it may be an allergy to the topical flea treatment? I have seen a few (not many) cases like this and the whole time it was the flea treatment causing the irritation. I'm not a vet so I cannot say for sure, but maybe it's worth trying her on some other brands or even a tablet if you can get your hands on it. Good luck. P.S Dachshunds are my favourite breed. Especially the tan mini's. She sounds like a real cutie :) What's her name? :)
