No not during "whoopie" and I would open a can of whoop a$$ if he did.
He once called me his ex wife's name when we first got together and likewise to you it was during a heated debate (which happened to be about his ex wife - so can see where the confusion may have occurred). He swears to this day he didn't but I know he did. I thought it was funny.

It has happend to me when i got in an arguement, I call my girl one of my ex's name. Its just a slip up, no harm done, its just a relapse of the brain. Its actually normal.
The bedroom, im not sure havent had that happen, but i assume its the same. The person is so into it and they are excited and have a brain laps.
Just talk to him and see if he can try to control it.

Never been in that situation but sounds like you need to talk to him and tell him he needs to stop calling you the other women's names. Some people just have trouble with names though... my dad constantly calls me my sister, best friend, mom, and aunt's names all the time. But an ex wife? talk to the man

Yeah my ex wife did that. I started laughing. She thought I was crazy. When I explained what she had done, she wanted to know why I wasn't upset. Told her she could call me anything she wanted as long as I was the one getting the whoopie..........

36 years of being together, 32 married and not once have either of us called the other by another name. Now, we have resorted to references to our biological makeup on occasion but that was meant to mean exactly as was stated...ei. "You are a horses a9s" You get the drift..

Its not uncommon. My X continued to call me Hun 3yrs after the divorce. Its just a habit. Don't take it too seriously, just ask him if you need to wear a name tag? or will he be able to handle the name change on his own? lol

That is caused from a pre-occupied mind. It didn't necessarily mean that you were not the focus it means that messages were traveling so fast that your the reason it happened. So really thats good. It means you are satisfying him.
