The NFL announced that the season opener is going to be played outside the U.S. for the first later this year; it is to be held in the U.K.. The reporters on ESPN said that the English love the NFL and that it will be a huge hit.

Heh ever see an NFL europe game? You can hear crickets in the stands. I think the NFL is trying to get another team in the UK since the Scotland Claymores folded and is using the exhibition game to gauge interest.
