Hi everyone! I was wondering what your company does in case of snow days? When they cancel because of the weather do you get paid for the day off since it was beyond your control? Or because it is an act of God, do you not get paid? Just curious!!

My Company's policy says I don't get snow days.. Acts of God have no effect where my job is concerned I don't get make excuses. I'm expected to think ahead and be at work ready to go at the time my shift starts. When I get there I'm not suppose to worry about my friends and family, I'm expected to do my job and do it well. I have a salaried position due to irregular hours so I do get paid.

It's a hard line outfit that I work for. I'm a cop.
