Lloret is like college Spring Break 12 month a year.
If you like to go clubbing and party that is the place. Check out Moby's right on the main strip.

If you want to have your peace and quiet but party a few nights. Try to get a place in Blanes. Taxi fare from Blanes to Lloret is only like Euro 10.

Don't forget to catch a train into Barcelona for the day. if you are that close you must not mix that wonderful city.

Lloret de Mar has grown from a small fishing village with just a few hotels to a holiday bustling resort with a wealth of varying accommodation right at the heart of the Costa Brava. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/de_Mar.htm#2 for more details

In July and August it is fantastic going into September it is starting to go quiet and by the end of the month it is almost a ghost town.

I agree with Johns comments but if you do decide to go there then a short boat or bus ride to Tossa de Mar is a must.Or why dont you holiday there instead if you dont like too much partying?

A busy and lively resort well equipped for night life, a long sandy beach with beach bars and restaurants.
Not for the shy and retiring looking for a quiet life.
