It was about a team of six friends (Alex, Tina, Robbie, Jamal, Lennie, and Gaby) who would help solve crimes with the help of their friend, Ghostwriter, who would put words together for them and fly the letters around in the air lol. It's a very old show, I don't know if anyone remembers but I used to love it. And all six friends had special pens that they had on a string, and they wore it around their necks.

Holy cow, yes I do remember this show!
It really bugs me what the kids are watching these days... ages 7-12. It's all MTV or "adult shows". Nickelodeon actually used to have shows of substance back then... Sheesh!
As much as I like "Reality TV", sometimes I just crave something my age that isnt "scripted". Thank god I grew up in the 90's.

Yeah! It was really fun to watch, I still remember an episode were Jamal was blamed for taking something from a store but the ghostwriter helped them solve the mystery.
And another one were one of the girls got kidnapped and was left in a underground place.

I sure do. The series ran from 1992-95 on the Childrens Television Workshop. It was set in New York City about teenagers solving mysteries with the help of an invisible ghost usuing letters.

Yeah it used to be on PBS. I watched it as a kid, great show. Also I don't think it was special pens, just carried it that way so they would have a pen with them at all times.

Are u kidding me!!?! I loved that show!! So much that I got a neon color note pad and used the famous "invisible marker" to decode messages I wrote to my friends, lol Gosh, I had to some imagination back then!! hahaha

Yes, I loved that show. Me and my sister used to have pens and pretend to be solving clues and stuff just like the people on the show!! It was our absolute FAVORITE!
