Are you crazy? Of course sex is a very good thing - as long as no one is coerced into having it. And all health issues are addressed.

But is this a ? about prostitution where women are relagated to a 'lesser being' catagory because they ply the trade? I feel so sorry for prostitutes.

Traditionally, people are given wedding gifts from others. In the Bible, God reserves sex for marriage and in the Song of Solomon gives it to the couple as a gift (their wedding gift) to enjoy. It makes sense that God would give the most amazing gift (and sex is).

Unfortunately, people have ripped into that gift and stolen what was inside long before they were ready for it and it has created nothing but heartache and misery (the idea of an "unwanted pregnancy" is horrifying... who would ever not want a precious child?)

Sex is intended for a man and woman to enjoy in a covenantal bond of marriage. It is the only way that sex does not violate our conscience.

Many say this is outdated thinking and teaching. Why then does the idea of "cheating" on one's spouse still exist. We innately understand that this should be between a married couple. It is only recently where this has been broadly violated (and to the violator's peril).

People fare much better under biblical rules. The rules are made for man's benefit, not God's. Not only is sex for pleasure, but it is for procreation - and God set up the system well so that both a father and mother, bringing their unique gifts into the child's life, would be able to support and raise the child.

It's a shame that people want to remove themselves from those healthy boundaries and end up creating many problems for themselves.

Querida Paola,

Si no fuera por el sexo, no estarias haciendo preguntas tan ridiculas! Te vale lo que diga yo. Lo que importa es lo que tu pienses.

yes, of course, under the right circumstances. Consensual sex between two people, yes. Forced sex, NO.
