KENDALL
Gender: Masculine & Feminine
Usage: English, Welsh
Pronounced: KEN-dahl [key]
From a surname which comes from the name of a city in northwest England meaning "valley of the River Kent".

Is this the name you really want for your little girl? A valley girl?

Kendall makes me think of a boy not a girl. Maybe you could come up with a more feminine version of it.

Others have used it.

It comes from a surname which comes from the name of a city in northwest England meaning "valley of the River Kent".

I would find out characteristics of the River Kent and see if you would like those characteristics in your daughter. Names mean a lot. Good luck.

I love it. My daughter's name allows for the nickname Kennie...it fits her. Cute, tomboyish right now. Oh wait that's my child.

I like Kendall a lot. It is sophisticated and unique.
