Since Florida has a tropical environment to start off with I don't see why they couldn't. The southern part of FL is basically tropical and that's where gators live. Virtually all crocodilians live in tropical areas.

Oh Yes, that's where they live, in America!!! Louisiana, is a bit of a Tropic state, and they live there!!! That's where they love to be most!!! That I know of........ In Tropical parts, of America!! I heard how humid it is in those states, like Florida, and Louisiana, and the like, that's what they love!!! Why planning to take one out of the country? Good-Luck!!! Smile!!!
