You can even see every other question they have stared.

It's going to be interesting. I usually gave a thumbs up to every question I answered, whether I aggreed with the poster or not. Since it was a question worth answering, I would give the thumbs up.
Now I'll just star everyone.

No, but then, the thumbs up/down was transitioning out as I was transitioning in. But I do like the thought of giving approval to intelligent questions, and the raspberries to the trolls.

Too bad.

I don't like it. I like the old way of either a thumbs up or down to say if we like the question or think it is a bad question.

UPDATE: I just found out that you can remove a star if you don't like the stars by going into your "star questions" and click on the question's star. This will remove it.

Yes...why do we have the ability to thumbs down and answer, but not a question? And it wasn't broke before, why did they change it? And why do I care who finds my question intersting anyhow? This new system is just lame...however it may be the conservative side of me resisting change that is talking right now...lol

I don't see how this is an improvement. I think giving "thumbs down" was a useful tool. Stupid questions need to be as easy to mark as the good ones, so we don't waste our time on them.

I did the same thing as someone else stated, accidentaly gave someone a star not knowing the thumbs down was gone!
I'll miss it :(

I think it sucks. I accidentally "starred" someone thinking I was giving them a thumbs down.

i think it is a little lame, I liked the fact that you could give a question negative feedback. I also don't like the fact that you can see who starred and everybody else can.

It can just further perpetuate the problem of harassment on here for those who have more extreme ideas.

I think it is a good idea.

To those that don't like it because you thought you were giving a thumbs up or down and starred by mistake, the star is a toggle switch.
