What makes hanging women more difficult than hanging men.

the difficult part of hanging someone is that the law demanded it be done humanely , so the executioner went to great lengths to try and prevent the head coming off . the thickness of a mans neck is usually consistent with his body weight and so the executioner only had to weigh him to know what weight should be tied to his ankles in order to ensure death without decapitation , women on the other hand have incredibly weak necks regardless of their body weight and so it was often impossible to hang them without their head coming off , awkward to the last every one of us he he !

Nothing. Although I don't approve of capitol punishment, it was depressing to note how many females were quite voyeuristic regarding the Saddam hanging, and one of them even directed site users to an unedited version. Maybe they take the view that it is nearly always men who are executed, so it is OK. You have assumed, by the way that you have framed your question, that we all agree that it would be more difficult.

If you are referring to the execution process itself, ie. a bit of a trick question, then, generally speaking, the the drop would have to be shorter, unless you wanted to get ahead.

As men and women are now equal under the LAW... Hanging of a female should not have any problems... both are mammals just one has to sit to take a pi*s!

It is (I have been told) because when a woman is hung, the impact can cause her uterus and ovaries to be expelled through the vagina. Thus, public hangings of women have been avoided historically.

I think it's sort of human nature for men to feel that they need to "protect" women, and that makes it harder for men who aren't psychopaths to kill them. Especially in a violent way like hanging.

The men who do the hanging are worried that the women will nag them to death instead

It isn't easier, on the contrary, the women neck is probably more fragile than the males
