According to newpaper reports, the U.S. Department of Defense has received priority funding for "non-lethal" DUAL PURPOSE weapons that can be used for both domestic crowd control, as well as against enemies on the battlefield. Would you think it more appropriate for U.S. taxpayers, who have funded this project, to receive control of it to alter the behavior of American politicians who seem to have lost all contact with reality?

Rush Limbaugh uses it daily for those who will listen, so does Pat Robinson with his 700 Club. Isn't it amazing that Neocon always comes to mind with these practices?

I do not think it is right to use mind control on anyone, for any reason. It is bad enough when they want to control your body; there's a well-established legal system that works relatively well to protect the innocent and even the accused before being found guilty. But there's no such controls over what is done with the unconscious mind.

But then, mind control -- at least in the sense of propaganda and other dishonesty -- is as old as government. New technology may make it more efficient, but check out some of the old newsreel footage of Hitler addressing a crowd of Germans: talk about mind control! Of course, there was written propaganda, as well, and a host of other forms, such as putting the Nazi flag on everything, even things that had nothing to do with the Party per se, just to validate the symbol and make it completely ubiquitous.
