to cut a long story short,.... I went into business with someone, she did away with about £2000 worth of cash & stock, I want to wipe the slate clean & try to pick things up. now I want to change the name I trade under, (self employed) I sell handmade soaps & bath bombs, gifts, (birthdays, mothers & fathers day, xmas etc..) gift baskets, nursery equipment. A little bit of anything really. I am trading as UandUrs at the minute, but would like to change to something more catchy, but with a little sarcasim added, to show I can go on trading without her (bit*hy I know, but hey, thats life) I thought of Me&Mine, & cant think of anything else.

Could someone please help????

How about bury the past and concentrate on getting on in business, get revenge by not giving her the time of day let alone name your business to get at her.

Name it something related to the industry, but make sure the domain name is available and register it ASAP. Even if you dont intend selling online it only cost like £2 or £3 pound to register a .com at godaddy get it and your .co.uk. If the name you come up with isnt available think of another name, branding is important, get the lot right at the start and you should be good to go in the future.

Possible names. Soapy days, bubbly presents, bombtastic soaps. or more of the same.

If you do decide you need an online presence let me know we specialise in helping startups reach their potential.

ENGLISH LATHER AND GIFTS.
I'm assuming you live in merry old England as I noted that you use the quid. I know that there is a good men's fragrance which I used to wear called English Leather so I just improvised on that name for your business. It may be lame but that's all I could think of in an hours time. Good Luck!

Putting sarcasm into your name will NOT help business. That's a personal issue. Your success under ANY name will show her that you can go on trading without her. Elevate your mind from that.
Focus on what you want instead of what you're leaving behind. That name could freeze you into that frame for as long as you do that business. You will be reminded of her every time you think about your name.
No names come to mind for you now but I suggest you spend some quiet time alone meditating about it and it WILL come to you. Utilise your creative imagination.

It has to be Soapsuds.

A collection of bubbles found on soapy water.

Well, you have a collection of "a little bit of everything" including handmade soap, so why not:

Soapsuds: Bubble your way to bliss.

(Not so sure about the slogan ;o) )

If you need help with a website though, just ask.

How about: "Giftarama"? She is probably too hard-faced to bother about any insults you could think of. So turn your back on her, make a fresh start, and keep heading forward into a (hopefully) successful business-like future. Making a success of your business is the best way to get your own back!
