No. He`s too far to the left. He`s too green. He would never garner the votes needed to make him the next president of the United States Of America. The numbers just aren`t there.

No. And neither will Hillary Clinton.

I know it would be a historical first for either, but I wouldn't count on it this time. Much as the push for diversity seems to keep coming whether we want it to or not, I still think the majority of the voters are scared of such a seemingly radical change.

Also, never forget the power of "negative voters". Voter turnout in the U.S. isn't especially high (we in Canada aren't any better), but Americans will turn out in droves to vote against someone if they don't like them for some reason or other. Don't think so? How many negative ads did you see the last election, versus the positive ones?

Barack and Hillary may have a chance next time or the one after that, but not this election.

I think he would make a great President . BUT this racist nation is NOT ready for a non white president . Already the peanut gallery is marching out the smear calling him a Muslim ( NOT ) and a Communist (not) and there's still almost two years to go before the Presidential Elections . By the time the elections roll around every detail in his life will be brought up UNLIKE no other in history JUST because of the color of his skin . America isn't ready to embrace multiculturalism , it only wants failed reruns and ineptitude.

No. He is good looking, young, charismatic, extremely articulate and passionate. But he is way too inexperienced. What I think we might be looking at is the next VICE President of the United States.

Very unlikely. (1) He's relatively unknown; (2) He's a Democrat; (3) There's still just enough racism left in this country to make the difference if (1) and (2) do not. We might even add (4), to many people, he's too young.

although i like barack obama and believe he is charismatic, i don't think he'll win the nomination for president. the fact that he's only served two years in the senate is going to stand against him. once he's had more experience under his belt, he'll become a shoe-in for president.

No. There's too many white people who are opposed to the thought of a non-white male president.

I think he has just as good of a shot as anyone. The worst I have heard about him is that he is too inexperienced and his name rhymes with Osama.

He better not be. His loyalty is first to his religion, and right now, that could make for a big mess.
