Heya - ignore the first two answers (sorry!). The adult monthly bus pass is £53.80 (£14.00 weekly, £560 annually) for the whole of London (no bus zones any longer).

The Oyster option is for people travelling by tube or train and bus - the capped fare rate for buses is only for daily travel and will cost a maximum of £3 per day (usual fare is £1 single and £2 return). If you use it every day, you'll pay up to £3 every day - over 5 days that's £15 - £1 more expensive than a weekly pass.

PS thanks for the thumbs down - I presume it's from one of the earlier answers. Hey, it's not my fault you are giving out incorrect information or not reading the question correctly :p

It will depend in what zone you are in and which zone you will travel to - you might have to buy an Oyster card. Take a look at the London Transport website and you'll find the information on there.

Too bloody much, public transport in this country is a plain and simple rip off, no wonder there are so many cars on the roads.

GET PRE-PAY OYSTER, £1 SINGLE FAIR, IT'S CAPPED SO IT WONT COST MORE THAN A WEEKLY/MONTHLY PASS

It would depend on what bus line you're riding, duh! They're not the same everywhere.
