Take a pregnancy test.

If you do think you're pregnant, to be on the safe side you and your mother both go get a home pregnancy test, and take it (not your mother she's just for support) The mensus is a tricky thing. They can be normal/regular for years and then your body will go through something that'll just knock it off to something that every girl/woman would get scared of. best thing for you to do is to log your mensus (i.e. when it starts/ends and how the blood flow was and what symptoms came with it) reason being is you can take that to your OB and he/she can determine if there are tests that need to be taken. GL to you

Take a hpt, but since you say you got a heavy period you either had a very early miscarriage or you are not pregnant. Wont hurt anything to test.

The only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test and if you get a result that is unexpected have your doctor test your blood he/she will be able to give you near accurate results good luck
