Or are you more likely to die in some freakish car accident that makes you suffer a prolonged, slow and ghastly death spanning several hours as you lay prostrate over the cold cold cold pavement.

Once I was eating bacon as I was driving at a high rate of speed, I had a stroke and heart attack from a clogged artery, my car crashed into a hog slaughter house, killing several pigs. I was placed in the hospital where all the nurses looked like pigs and was on a strict raw bacon diet. I feel very lucky, as I am one of few that have survived this same freakish accident over the past several years.

According to doctors, yes. According to me and my personal experience, yes. According to insurance companies that do nothing but constantly study the statistics of what causes untimely deaths, accidents, and what not, yes.

OK, so there is the answer: yes

Now as far as what is MORE LIKELY to happen, death from bacon or death from car accident, whatever statistic is higher, the statistics for both and other bad events are appallingly high. It's like we live in a war zone. With that said, it really doesn't matter which is higher, it's all JUST BAD!!!!

No wonder immigrants are rushing into Europe and the U.S. Immigrants just don't eat bacon, drive cars, or anything else that kills them!!!! That's it, I'm joining the immigrants, pass the water and bread crusts.

My grandfather's death was blamed on the bacon and biscuits and pure butter he ate EVERY day of his adult life. He was 96 when he died.
I eat bacon and eggs 4-5 times a week. I am 59 my cholesterol is 135 my pulse is 52-60.

But, by the same token, my uncle died at 40 from a bad heart. So who knows>

I would say if you eat bacon once a week for Sunday breakfast but drive 37 miles to work and back each weekday, the car accident is MUCH more likely. If you reverse the two, the bacon will do you in.

Bacon is fine as long as it isn't overdone. I have it maybe once every other month though because it has too much sodium nitrite for me. Nitrite-free bacon, on the other hand, I'd have once a week if it wasn't so expensive!

u could die any number of ways. Let's hope not for many, many years. I know back in the seventies, they claimed bacon had ingredients in it that could cause cancer. And yes the fat in the bacon can over a long period of years give you clogged arteries. The name of the said "ingredient" slips my mind at this time. But it's a preservative that is also found in lunch meats.

You're genetics/family history have a lot to do with that. My grandmother is 87 and she eats "country bacon" which is thick slabs of really salty fat-back. She fries everything else in lard and uses butter on everything.

I would be interested in seeing someone lay prostrate over the cold, cold pavement. I always assumed one lay "on" the pavement, so the idea of someone, particularly someone's corpse, floating some distance above the pavement would be something to see.

I think this really depends on your surroundings.

My great grandfather is in his late 80's, he wakes up every morniing, eats his eggs and bacon, and is on his way. He lives in a tiny town in missouri. Not very stressful atmosphere.

I believe it depends on many factors
