Has anyone successfully gotten a tan? Even if it was slight? I'm really sick and tired of getting sunburn, and then once it goes away, I'm as white as I was before. Does anyone know anything that I can do besides go continuously to the tanning bed with no results?

you must have a pink undertone as i do.....what worked for me after testing and trials is going to tanning bed and no over doing it.. try not to get burnt..it takes us a little longer since we are lighter...also, when tanning out in the sun use sun screen, this actually help me to tan.....
to keep the tan, well most generally tans fade if you are not consistent in keeping up with it...

I have redhair and can only tan by using an Ultra bronze bed. I got married in May and new all my bridesmaids would get dark and I didnt want to look like a ghost on my own wedding day. I guess the Ultra bronz bed doesnt have UVA or UVB rays so you dont get burned. I payed over 100 dollars for i think 3 or 4 sessions, but I got a really nice tan. Hope that helps!

From a redhead lover....
Don't really worry about getting a tan. Those of us enlightened individuals who know the beauty of a redhead do not think much about tans and such.

I've actually never heard that stereotype before (red=nerd) I don't get any, personally, but the big one I hear is being called a "ginger" and how people hate red hair. I don't understand why. I love it!

Make the best of what you have and enjoy not having skin cancer, if you don't you are far more likely to lose that benefit.
