Are you asking because you have cramps and wonder if it'll hurt, or if it'll be too much of a strain?
The first is soooooo individual I'm afraid I can't answer, even my own cramps respond better to meds one month than the next... some months I can pretty much do everything I like and others I get worse cramps so I really don't wanna do *anything* let alone go to the gym. If it were me, I'd go if it were close by, so I could go home if it didn't go away or got worse in spite of the meds... when it's really bad I don't want to have to drive/travel far either. But that's just me, your cramps may never be that severe.
If you worry about the strain and not the cramps, you can safely do sports when on your period, and even when you've taken a normal dose of midol, that shouldn't be a problem. If you're worried take it a little easy perhaps.

Why you took Midol for? You are experiencing cramps? If you not try to stay away from taking unnecessary pills and go to the class if you feel like there is not going to be anything overstrenghening.....other then that when i was in school i could of excuse myself from attending a class when i had my red army days....so its up to you and how you feel. Other then that there is nothing wrong with physical execises while on period. I do it all the time.

Argh, you didn't say which type of Midol you took.
Best to take it easy and chill out, especially since you're asking that question. If you don't know the answer, call your doctor, they may decide to tell you over the phone, or ask that you come in. If you're taking an over the counter drug for this, they may want to find you something better.

Yes you can go to the gym. I would recommend using a tampon since you will be exercising and moving around alot. Don't want to leak and get embarrassed do we? You should be fine, just don't over do yourself.

Absolutely. Exercise will make you feel better. But keep in mind not to go overboard. Work within the limits you feel today. Don't push yourself when you are feeling that wall coming toward you.
