x = 2y

4(y-6) = 4+x

4y-24 = 4 + 2y

2y = 28

y = 14, x = 28

They were 11 and 25 three years ago.

Let Sudesh be X and Seema be Y.
Given X = 2Y and 4(Y-6) = X+4
=> 4Y-24 = X+4
=> 4Y-24 = 2Y+4 (since X = 2Y)
=> 4Y-2Y = 4+24
=> 2Y = 28
=> Y = 28/2
=> Y = 14
Sub Y = 14 in X = 2Y
=> X = 2*14
=> X = 28

Therefore at present Sudesh age is 28 and Seema's age is 14
Sudesh's age was 25 and Seema's age was 14 three years ago.
