you create your vanishing points so if you change them you change your drawing!
normally a vanishing point is set at the start of the drawing!
so i would change it back or your drawing will not be proper! meaning your lines will look funny and not in order with the rest of the drawing!

If your vanishing points are changed, then your point of view will be changed depending if the object gets closer or farther away from your horizon line.

well....the vanishing point will go more far or it will disappear or it will merge!!!!
