Let me first admit that, being and Indian, remarks like those of yours creates quick reaction in us(in simply saying it hurts). And the fact is that majority of us are educated beyond the imagination of most of the unaware people outside. And for your information, we dont live on trees. On the same hand I should admit here that significant population of indians are uneducated. Some live in conditions that you can not justify for any human. This is not the place to blame anyone for this.
coming back to your question. It is great to know that you love india. Try some litrature on it and you will love more!
if you really want to contribute, you can always.
However, we ourselves are having enough educated person to educate the rest. Its an emerging socity, coming giantly to the world, but this will take its own time. Motivational drive need to be taken seriously.

How can we educate our planet 100%?:

It is perfectly possible. We just need to change our perspective.
By educating our planet, I assume you are not talking about educating the dead things like rocks, mountains, rivers etc. I think you would like to exclude living things like trees and plants. Now its our turm to exclude intelligent ones like cat, dog, cow etc. I mean i am just concentrating on humans(adults above age 18 or say 25). The simplest answer to this is by defining what you mean by "educated person". If you think that all those who can understand e=mc2 are educated then you'll probably need few thousands of years because progress is always gradual and it will take its own course. You can speed-up by eliminating those who do not fit in your criteria. For example, if those who are educated start shooting up those uneducated for some good rewards and place in society, you will get a 100% educated society in 10 - 15 years after some initial resistance from uneducated.
If you define an educated person as the one who knows how to eat then you will get a 100% educated society immediately. However the society will not progress in so called a positive direction.
The best way is to define being educated as something that is achieved by a significent, however not large, proportion of successful(need to define separately!) person in society, reward such persons adequately so that they become role model for uneducated and they start developing themselves. And when you get a good portion of educated, raise the bars for being educated.

Educate them about what? Do you have specific are of interest you would like to see the US educate the Indian population on?

Or do you mean as in a general education.....grade school through high school and then college? That's the job of the Indian government.

The people of India might not be too excited about our educating them.

whom do u want to educate in india ?sorry indians are very well educated.other developed nations are making use of our educated youth's services. may be u don't know much about india. why don't u learn about india before passing such comments ? come to india we will teach u whatever u want.pl learn more about india.

If you really love India, maybe you should not be such a bigot by labelling Indians as uneducated. Actually, India is a very advanced country scientifically and culturally, with a long and important history.

if at all we want to really educate India, first we should be in right path. we should teach what we practice. teaching one and following other will not be good

What specifically do you think they need to be educated in? The same kind we did with the native Americans? Why do you think they want to be like us. I don't want to be like us. Your motives and standards need to be re-evaluated. Perhaps, we are the ones in need of educating. God bless
