I have tried several of the store brand cleaners, ( 409, fantastic, pine-sol) so far nothing has worked. Any suggestions that will not cause any problems? It is a plastic wall freezer and the panels do not come out.

First you're going to have to pull everything out of your freezer and dethaw. Just unplug your freezer and put two pots of water on to boil. Switch pots in and out until freezer is fully thawed (this should take an hour at most). Then clean the freezer (I'd recommend orange glow since we're dealing with food, once the freezer is dethawed you could probably just use water.) Then load your freezer back up. Good luck!

The best bet is to turn it off and let it warm up to tackle the sticky. The best thing is, acutally----water! Take a sponge, soak it in hot water, and place it on the sticky. Let it sit a minute, rub, and repeat until it is gone. Syrup is more soluble in water than in some of the cleaners you have mentioned.

Well, I don';t know if this holds up to freezing temps, but I would try it.
Penut butter has gotten out almost everything sticky thing that's ever bothered me, including industrial tar from off a roof, that got on my dad's linoleum floor. Try it!
Good luck!
