If you were diagnosed with cancer, and the doctor told you 'it's nothing you did, and you can't cure it, but if you change your lifestyle and eat right and exercise more you could prolong your life' would you do it?

I knew I could get some of you giuys to deny global warmoing exists...I mean some of you say 'no republican denies the existance, just our impact on it'. And that is wrong! Some of you flat out deny it. Awesome...and recycling and reducing waste take little to no effort.

are you reffering to the whole in the atmoshpere or the melting Ice caps .

the whole in the atmoshpere happened millions of years ago when an astriod crashed into the planet it burned and coterized (in essence) a permenent void.

the melting Ice caps well science is not able to support the effect to polutants from human waste(i.e. fossal fuel burning ) but the waste produces no help in the lab.

how about the fact that the earth had a 9.3 earth quake under the ocean and caused a sunomi that was so massive that the volume of water sent into motion permently changes the earth's axis . do you think that might have a little to do with the escalating melting of the caps and the abnormal weather patterns .

how far does the displacment of a grain of sand falling into a smooth surrface travel, and how long after does the surface return to its orginal state?

the riple effect is a simmular model for the changing atmoshpere ,but you can't predict how it will end or the effects it has made under the surface all you can do is watch it fall to a resting position and studie the motion it created.

what happens when a volcano errupts?where does the gas go from its erruption? how many cars and factoriies would it take to duplicate the amount of polutants released into the atmoshpere from a single minute of the erruption?

the fact that we are constinly learning about our enviorment goes to show you the vastness of the cycle of life and for anyone to claim that they know how it all works and give it a name is blaspomous .(not meaning religon with that word.)

insted of focusing all resources on what cause's the problem why don't you address the issue head on by accepting it for what it is a part of life and take all the money that is spent on tring to reform every manufacture and motorist with pointing fingers and damnation rhetoric why dont you insist on the errection of clean air machines(not trees)
that revove the pollutant those manufactures and vehicles put into the air .

the studies of where the poluted air seems to collect and it has been named and smog is not global warming.every major industial city has smog and the smog issue is ping ponged back and forth between federal and state governments who's lobbiest have invented the term global warming to procrastinate and create a debate issue that will never be resolved because the enviorment will maintian its course no matter what we do. sure a better standard can be achieved and foundations can recieve monies and polititions can gain popularity but it will never be something we can change by limiting the amount of gas we use when we drive our cars or how we dispose of our trash.

recycleing saves trees sure but it also provides a more effictent waste system and eliminates jobs of those who the waste companies would have and use to employ by telling you that you help a greater cause by seperating your own trash.

If I was diagnosed with cancer and told that I had a year to live, and that it was nothing I did. I would start smoking. Go buy a big SUV and cut out the catalytic converter spew gasses all over the place. Walk around naked everywhere I went. Have sex with whom ever I want whenever and wherever I wanted. Would you be willing to have sex with me?

As far as Global warming, the scare tactics are misleading. Those people who push global warming say that we are going to destroy the world. I promise you young lady that the earth will be here long after the human race is gone. But that is the real issue of global warming. On the environment of the earth no longer being able to support human life. Humanity may go extinct but the earth will be here until the Sun dies. We are not causing any damage to the sun so we have nothing to fear.

First I would get multiple opinions as to whether I actually had cancer. If the doctors had done no actual tests on me but arrived at their conclusion because of a computer program that said because of my demographics that I either had cancer or would have it soon I would tell them to kick rocks.

Global warming is cyclic. It's here now and its been coming since this last ice age. It wont be terminal like cancer. CO2 accounts for .05% of the total atmosphere. An increase from .04% from 100 yrs ago. The specific heat of CO2 is so insignificant in the total specific heat of the atmosphere. BTW, specific heat describes how much energy it takes to raise the amount of a substance by 1 deg.

Yes, but getting society to change is a lot harder than getting one person to change. The problem with getting poeple to react to global warming is that people are so focused on daily life due to the demands put on people today, that it is hard to plan for fifty years in the future. That is what we need to do though, or our children won't have a choice in the matter.

What does that have to do with global warming? If you have cancer, you know what it is, where it is, you can figure out what caused it, and you can have an idea when it might become fatal. Global warming is a theory, we aren't sure that it's happening or what it's effects will be.

Are you drawing an analogy between cancer and the neo-lib fiction called global warming?

If I had cancer, I would eat right in order to prolong my life. I don't see how it is related to global warming.

Also, if global warming is real, how come I am going to spend 5 bucks each on my avocados from now on???
