You need to ask a 2 year old this question - it is at their mental maturity level.

He's coming on strong right now but he will fold in a few months when he realizes that America is not ready for him. Right now hes a celebrity but when the tabloids and the news media start on him the American people will decide that he is not going to be a candidate too long. Someone mentioned on CNN that all he needed was 43% of the white vote to win. Thats 43% of the 45% of the American people who even bother to vote.

This is your second question which attacks something about this potential candidate. Do you have a specific problem with him? Is it that he is 'black'? OMG, a black man running for president... MAH, bring me my sheet!
I think you do and that you are asking these questions in the hope to prejudice some people against this man. This is a terrible thing to do. Please refrain from this. Learn to judge people by what they have accomplished, how qualified they are for a position and how you 'feel' (after research) about the person's over all standards, experience, education, honesty, etc not by how he looks or by jumping to conclusions about his predilections due to what his name is.
Good luck to you in life. (BTW, I'm white, 60, raised in the south, former military officer and engineer and cannot support Sen. Obama as a candidate because he hasn't adequate experience.)

No.

What will hurt him is his liberal voting record. That is - if Americans suddenly started THINKING before voting... I know, that's asking a lot, but...

Since it's not likely to happen, he will do well, because he is very charismatic, like Bill Clinton. He'll probably end up being the VP nominee on the democratic ticket.

No. And you won't see any media editorial cartoons portraying him as a monkey like they do Bush. In fact, you won't see any negative portrayal of him.

I'm thinking his platform, his politics, and his name will actually be his biggest hindrance.
