I got a strange result when I used the Windows XP defragmenter. At the end of the process there was a message on the screen telling me that something did not defragment.
The details of this were as follows: -
DID NOT DEFRAGENT
Fragments File size
2 25kb

File name: - \Documents and Settings\User\favorites\DV

What does this mean? Is it something serious, or just one of those glitches that happen to computers?
Should I try to defragment this file again? If so, how can I do it?
There is a very long list of Favorites on my computer. Perhaps that is the problem.
PS: Is it possible to print out my list of favorites? I think it is not possible, but someone might be able to tell me what to do.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out

Some files or user settings are not right or missing which causes some small portion of any file to not defragment properly. Before you start, go to the top button of options and do the analyse first. This will tell you which files need defragmentaion. It is not a serious issue only if many red lines show up.Look into your programs and check them as well as your settings to see if you can get the correction. If unsure, then delete the program and re-download it again.

Just means that certain files did not defragment because for some reason they were still in use. If you go into safe mode(reboot, F8), then do same thing should defragment those files as well. As far as printing list of favorites, not too sure that you can do that. You CAN copy and paste each url address into Word and print..

It probably just means that it didn't know how to degfragment the file. It possibly is a corrupt file. The file size left is fairly small. I've seen this before and just ignored it. If you're really concerned you could go and manually delete it but it's not big worry. I wouldn't worry about a long list of favorites. They're small files.
