The USA, Canada, Great Britain send millions of dollars to help the starving children around the world but most of the money is not accounted for. The leaders or governments getting the aid are not funnelling the money to feed the poor or starving children. We don't have to look very far to see how this system works. Take New Orleans for example, the Federal Government spends Millions there and just how much of that money goes to the poor who lost their homes. The USA is not alone with this problem. As long as you have bureaucrats and civil servants on the take you will continue to have starving people. If they are not on the take they are serving their freinds not the people.

The United States (if you are referring to the USA) spends over $53 BILLION in foreign aid each year. This aid is aside from military aid but is spent on the development, infrastructure and food/medicine needs of mainly 3rd world nations. The US is the largest sole contributor of any nation in the world.

The United Kingdom (if you are referring to the UK) spends over £23 BILLION ($40 Billion USD) in foreign aid each year. The UK's totals however vary from year to year quite a bit and the above number is an average.

Nothing I hope. It's clearly not our problem. Once they start flying planes into building for food, then maybe we will do something. But if you can't take care of your kids, then don't have them.
