When I say drain-pipe, I mean the length of guttering that runs along the roof of the house and down the side of the wall to let the rain run off.

The part along the roof is the gutter. the verticle part is the down spout.

It's been known to clog sewer pipes and on one occasion it even clogged a whole sewerage works up
