beacuse we are all programmed to see things a certain way. and if someone says that our values or faith is wrong we wont listen.
its all part of the wonderful thing called the human condition.

People fail to see the truth for a number of reasons.
The most obvious in my experience is because the truth doesn't set them free...it makes them wrong!! Nobody likes to look as if they do not know. No one likes to be wrong, and as a result their egos are drawn into play and a stubborn streak is usually brought to bear.
The other most common reason is that people only see what they want to see. Nothing will deter them in that. You could slap their face with a beaver tails worth of truth and if it isn't what they want to know then it's a waste of energy on your part. The self serving victim will then walk away with a bruise on their face; and tell anyone who asks that they walked into a door.

One persons truth does not mean it is the only truth. Plus denial is a powerful force.

because truth is an abstract noun, u can feel the truth but cant see it, whenever people feel it they believe it.
