hi, i got my last periods on 21 dec , started taking bcp, ginette 35, no sex at all from 21 dec till now , but then this time got my periods on 12 jan , but it is lighter than usual, is it due to the first time i am taking the pill. i had tested 2 negatives for the previous test which happened b4 21 dec. and again tested a negative when i took the test on 10 jan.what do u think is the problem..plz answer

There is no problem. When you take the pill, your periods will become lighter and shorter.

your periods are going to be different since you are on the birth control pill. they will be regular, although you might have some spotting, but the periods might be lighter or heavier with different symptoms. take it regularly at the same time every day and you won't have to take pregnancy tests

Your periods are generally much lighter while taking the pill.
