Yes, there is a very high chance that there will be a revolition or at least a civil war that normaily what happens in a vacum of power, and lets not forget what happens when all the exiles return to Cuba.

It depends on who his successor is and what their ideas about the United States are.

I think the US will approach the new government to see what their attitude is.

If it's the same as Castro's was then not much will change.

Yes, but it will need to slow. Weening people off of Communism turns out to be touchy business. Let them go the pace of China not Russia. I predict new American resort hotels going up in seven years.

No it will make no difference, his brother will take over. There will probably be some kind of resistance, However his brother has a reputation of being more vicous than Fidel, so he will eliminate any threat quickly.
