Yeah, I put one on sometimes when i'm in america because the majority of americans are too ignorant to believe that i could be both black and british and insist on staring everytime i talk.

Sure, you can fake just about any accent with practice. Think of the various British and Australian actors who have played 'American's' in film - like Pierce Brosnan, Hugh Grant... my favorite is probably Marina Sirtis who played Deeana Troi on Star Trek the Next Generation - horrible accent on the show - beautiful british accent in real life.

yes, you can. take actors for example. American actors can fake English or Australian accents. the opposite is true. Kate Winslet (English) fakes an American accent in her movies and Nicole Kidman (Aussie) fakes an American accent as well, and quite convincingly. sure they have training in acting and speech coaches I'm sure, but if they can do it, why couldn't anyone else.

Sure. I use one often when talking to Americans. They think I'm just a weird Englishman!

Then there are all the British singers who talk quite normally but, when they sing, think it appropriate to put on what they think of as am American accent. It has been called a 'mid-Atlantic accent'.

There are hundreds of various accents in America. Entirely too many to refer to "American Accent". I guess anybody can fake any accent they want to try.

Of course. There are several different accents within the rather large nation. I rather frequently speak with a horribly done southern drawl.

You can have any fake accent. If something exists, it can be faked.

Which American accent? There are so many from all over the country. I am sure someone could copy one of them.
