Get a second opinion from another gynaecologist. Your doctor should care just as much about your sexual health as it is related to your mental status. I understand your uterus is inverted which will make things harder to get pregnant, but you should be able to have some surgical option as they do for women who's uteruses are prolapsing or their bladders are. They have pinning procedures for those conditons and I am sure they would for yours. Seek more medical help as second opinions are what they are there for. Doctors are your employees and never settle for what you want for your health.

Try calling a different gyno then your own. Tell them your problem and your family history. Tell them you are interested in the same surgery your mother had. You could try a urologist but the gyno would probably be able to help better.

I would see a different gynecologist. They are the experts in this particular part of the body. Some old-fashioned gynecologists (and even some new ones) aren't really comfortable talking about all your options, especially when it comes to sex. Believe me, there are other options out there, not all of them surgical, and a hysterectomy is not guaranteed to sove anything, since you can develop painful scar tissue from that surgery as well. General surgeons and regular doctors usually want nothing to do with anything south of the belly button in women.

Call another gyno and get a second opinion. Tell your present one that with modern medicine nobody should suffer. The new gyno will refer you to a specialist if needed. Get rid of your current doctor, sounds like an idiot. Ask you friends and family or insurance company for a referral for another OB/GYN.

see another gyno, there IS help, my mother in law recently had surgery for this and she is really glad she did . your gyno sounds like a moron, no good doctor would tell a patient to live with pain without trying to fix it.

You need to get a new gynocologist ASAP. Meantime look for a gyno that specializes in female urology, they will have the best answers for you.

I think I would try going to a general practitioner and let him send you to the doctor he thinks best. there should be no reason to suffer but your condition may be out of the realm of experience for that gyn and he or she should have recommended another doctor for you to see!!

I would think that a hysterectomy would solve that problem, but that's a pretty drastic step.
